That city is a very ancient city with many historical place to visit. A very rich city with availability for many available activities nearby. As city center is not offering too much sightseeings but to a few nice places, nearby areas has wonderful beaches, resorts and sightseeings. The famous summer location of Cesme and ancient city of Ephesos is also very close to city.
Izmir is a very old and a magnificent city but unfortunately city is not a well planned and well designed city. Transportation in the city is not very well and city is growing uncontrolled.
